LAFCU is committed to protecting your accounts and providing you with the newest technology - that's why we have enhanced our debit card fraud detection alerts to help you stay ahead of fraudulent debit card activity.

• Receive a text alert with merchant information and a transaction amount when suspicious activity is identified if we have your mobile phone number on file
• Respond "YES" to the text message to validate the transaction, or "NO" if you do not recognize the transaction
• You can respond "STOP" if you'd like to stop receiving debit card fraud text alerts

If we do not hear from you, we'll attempt to verify the transaction by email and then by phone.

Never share sensitive account information through text message or email.
