Volunteer to Read

Introducing LAFCU Listen & Learn, a virtual reading program that brings stories to our community to encourage learning.

We are excited to present a program that makes listening, learning, and reading fun in a virtual environment. Please check back often for monthly virtual events brought to you with a variety of community partners.

  • Watch our prerecorded stories on our YouTube Channel.
  • Interested in hearing a story? We are currently featuring The Quiltmaker's Gift by Jeff Brumbeau. Call 517-622-6789 to listen to the story.

If you are interested in volunteering to read for future programs please complete this form.

LAFCU Listen & Learn Being Thankful

Thank you for joining us for this wonderful program! We listened to a special story with Carol Robinson, Grand Ledge Area District Library's Youth Services Librarian, saw a puppet show about learning how to be thankful, and enjoyed an inside look at the Greater Lansing Food Bank and how they collect and donate food to those in need.

Event Recording Will Be Available Soon
