Teachers Grant Teachers Grant LAFCU recognizes the importance of educating our children and is committed to giving back to the communities we serve. This program will allow teachers to purchase the necessities needed to help students succeed without putting a financial burden on the teacher. LAFCU will be awarding five $500 donations to teachers within Michigan, two donations per school building. Applications must be submitted by May 15, 2026. Submission Rules/Guidelines Topic Describe in a few sentences how these funds will be beneficial to your classroom and students. How do you plan to use these funds? Submission Date April 20, 2026 - May 15, 2026 Winner The winners will be selected on June 5, 2026. Awarding of the Funds Decisions will be made by June 5, 2026 and funds will be distributed directly to the school district. Details By entering, participants grant LAFCU permission to contact them via phone, email or social media about their entry. By participating, entrants agree to abide by and be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of LAFCU, which shall be final and binding; and to the use of their names and/or likeness for advertising and publicity purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law. Participation and eligibility is open to legal residents of Michigan, must be a teacher for the Fall of 2026 school year, and must be eighteen (18) years or older. Officers, directors, and employees of LAFCU; and their immediate families are not eligible.
