LAFCU is proud to offer the scholarships listed below.

  • LAFCU Community Champion Scholarship

    LAFCU COMMUNITY CHAMPIONS SCHOLARSHIP

    LAFCU will award a $1,000 scholarship for a Community Champion to attend Lansing Community College for the 2015-2016 academic school year.

    A Community Champion or a family member of a Community Champion may submit an essay for a chance to receive a $1,000 scholarship.

    Submissions will be taken through August 7, 2015. Scholarship recipient will be recognized at the August 22, 2015 Lansing Lugnuts game with LAFCU Fireworks!

  • Wheel Scholarship

    WHEEL Scholarship!

    Congratulations to Lisa McGhan, Rachelle Koenigsknecht, and Andrea Skrip on being the winners in the 2014 Women Helping Educate Every Lady (Wheel) Scholarship. They will each receive a $1,000 Scholarship to attend LCC this fall.

    "Write to Educate" Essay Contest Winners!

    Congratulations to Hadleigh Buchler of Northwest High School. She is the winner of the 2015 "Write to Educate" Essay contest. A $500 local charity donation will also be given to Child Abuse Prevention Council of Shiawassee County.

    If you are going to be a high school senior next year, you can take part in this annual essay contest. This essay offers seniors in high school within the areas of Barry, Calhoun, Clinton, Eaton, Gratiot, Ionia, Ingham, Jackson, Livingston, Montcalm or Shiawassee counties the opportunity to submit an essay for a chance to win a college scholarship to Lansing Community College or Baker College of Owosso.
