    LAFCU is proud to salute first responders and active-duty and veteran members of the military for their service to our country. The 2017 winner(s) will receive a $1,000 scholarship to attend Lansing Community College for the 2017-18 school year.

    Wheel was established to assist women in entering or re-entering the workforce. Maybe you need a few classes to complete your associates’ degree, or you want to become certified or licensed in a new occupation. Let LAFCU assist you with your next step.     Interested in a college scholarship? Submit a Write to Educate Scholarship for a chance to win a scholarship*!Congratulations to Cassidy Ward and Elizabeth Rushford for being the 2017 Write to Educate winners.

    They will receive a $2,500 college scholarship to attend LCC and Baker College out of Owosso. They also have chosen to donate $500 to to the Greater Lansing Food Bank and Salvation Army out of Owosso. Take a look at their essays below!

    Are you a high school senior next year or know someone who is? Make sure you visit next year to learn more about how you can enter the LAFCU Write to Educate College Scholarship to attend Lansing Community College or Baker College in Owosso. High school seniors must reside within the counties of Barry, Calhoun, Clinton, Eaton, Gratiot, Ionia, Ingham, Jackson, Livingston, Montcalm or Shiawassee.
